At Lobb St Sawmill, we believe in supporting the local community and businesses. All our timber and other products are predominantly sourced from businesses based in Queensland, Maryborough in the north and Yatala in the south.
If you are looking for imported products, we stock them as well. We have a range of treated pine and decking timbers imported from New Zealand and Indonesia, respectively. Be it local or imported products, we have everything you need.

All timbers can be cut to length on request
Treated Timber
Timber that is required for fencing is classed as H4 and is substantially more economical than building grade. Our timber is treated with a CCA treatment (Copper, Chrome and Arsenic) to ensure they are long-lasting.
Copper: To control fungi
Arsenic: To control termites
Chromium: To fix the copper and arsenic in the wood
We also can provide some timbers treated with the alternate ACQ (Alkaline, Copper and Quat) that is currently registered for use in all hazard classes except H6 (marine use).
Remember to use hot-dip galvanised or stainless steel nails or screws when fixing these treated timbers.
